FUNDRAISING COMPILATION ALBUM “HUMAN DEVICES” RELEASED BY PRETTY THING RECORDS

Pretty Thing Records has come together with a range of international songwriters to create a truly unique charity recording project.

Human Devices is a fundraising compilation 16 track album featuring new and original music by quality singer-songwriters from across the world. Each track has been recorded in isolation and all proceeds of the project are going to UK charity Help Musicians who support physical and mental welling among musicians.

Jamie Tipson of Pretty Thing Records explains “The brief was simple; one songwriter, one song, one recording device. We were over the moon that the artists we approached said yes, and the collection of tracks includes recording on mobile phones, digital recorders, and 4 track tape recorders!”

Mixed and mastered by Mark Beazley (Keaton Heston, Rothko) Human Devices includes tracks from artists in UK, Ireland, Canada, USA and Norway.

Declan Feenan of Pretty Thing Records: “Help Musicians do incredible work to support musicians in times of crisis and hardship and they have a special focus on physical and mental wellbeing. So it felt like a right fit that all proceeds from Human Devices should go to Help Musicians”

Human Devices is released on Bandcamp on 15th May 2020. Purchase price is pay what you can with recommended donation of £10.
