Celebrated Sydney-born, LA-based producer Flume has been nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album for his critically acclaimed Hi This Is Flume mixtape at the 62ndAnnual Grammy Awards.
This nomination caps off a monumental year for Flume who released Hi This Is Flume, a 38-minute mixtape along with a striking visualizer directed by Harley’s friend and collaborator Jonathan Zawada, this past March. Having just concluded a very special European headline run with a set at Manchester’s Mayfield Depot, Flume toured the continent and globe with stops at festivals including Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Outside Lands, Japan’s Summersonic, Italy’s C2C and more. Flume is set to make his Ultra Miami debut as one of the festival’s headline acts, which will be held March 20-22, 2020.
Additionally, Flume recently launched a new line of merchandise that can be purchased here.Just last week Flume debuted the video for his latest single “Rushing Back” featuring Vera Blue, directed by longtime collaborator Jonathan Zawada—watch here. The track is his biggest launch of 2018, debuting at #12 on the U.S. Dance/Electronic chart and streamed more than 18 million times to date. The pair debuted the song, also featured on the FIFA 2020soundtrack, with live performances at Lollapalooza and Australia’s Listen Out festivals this summer.
“Rushing Back” follows the release of “Let You Know” feat. London Grammar, Quits, a collaborative EP with rapper Reo Cragun, as well as the now Grammy nominated and much-lauded Hi This Is Flume mixtape and visualizer released earlier this year.
