’s ‘Fix Me’ was recorded in his Brooklyn apartment before he decamped back to DC to be with grandparents at the height of the protests.

It’s a song that will make you feel something in your soul. The way he conveys emotions through his vocals is very impressive. He tells the story of the sorrow and mournfulness that lays heavy in the air ever since the murder of George Floyd. Armed only with an acoustic guitar, the song is a cry to what’s happening now and what’s been the history of blackness in America, a hymn to the time.

An absolute masterpiece.
