Matt Lockshaw – ‘A Mediocre Pop Song’

You’re about to listen to ‘A Mediocre Pop Song’ by Matt Lockshaw but there’s nothing mediocre about it.

Matt with his smooth as silk voice delivers a dreamy slice of Pop perfection

Speaking about the track, which is the first single off his debut album, ‘Balance’, Matt says it’s about a missed opportunity at finding love with a high school crush who broke up with her boyfriend of three years.

“Her and I texted after they split and we ended up admitting that we both had a crush on each other at the beginning of high school, but I felt it was too soon to mention that I still did. So this song talks about the struggle of analysis paralysis, over contemplation, and not jumping on an opportunity when it presents itself.”
