With over 30 million global streams, 20-year-old singer-songwriter Thomas Day is back to share his new single & video, ‘The End‘, out on Arista Records.
This is my first time hearing his music and I get why he’s so popular. This young man has a voice that captures your attention right away.
On ‘The End’ Thomas spreads a heart-wrenching yet powerful message about not giving up, even when the pain feels overwhelming.
“This song is definitely the most emotional I’ve released so far and this was actually the first time I’d ever cried while I was recording a song,” says Thomas. “The ending of anything is my biggest fear. I hate change, I’ll do anything to fight for keeping things the same, which is kind of hypocritical because I broke up with a girl I’m in love with. This song is a fight for everything to be ok, but even if it isn’t, knowing it will be ok in the end.”
The official music video was directed by Brenton Giesey, a Nashville-based visual artist who worked with Thomas on his last two music videos, ‘Wildflower’ and ‘not my job anymore’.
